Will we get lost looking for abstractions and philosophical answers, or will we help the person who needs us the most today?
There are a lot of disappointments and struggles in this account of the disciples in Acts ch.13. And in every case the disciples saw that God was using these struggles as a new opportunity to bless others. Their lives were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit, no matter the outer circumstances of life.
Maybe the difficulties we are experiencing are a way to go deeper into God's love.
So much of our days have been spent worrying about what's happening to us. Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd--so what's good about all of this?
Because of Christ's resurrection, we are partakers of new life!
